No. BDC lends to businesses at every stage, including established companies buying real estate or acquiring competitors.
What can a Canada Small Business Financing Program loan be used for?
Purchasing or improving equipment, leasehold improvements and buying or improving real property. Working capital is limited.
Do I still need a bank?
Canada Small Business Financing Program loans are delivered through banks and credit unions. BDC lends directly and often works alongside your existing bank.
